My family and I (2 kids aged 2 & 5) enjoyed the sorroundings, hospitality and accommodation so much, that after 8 Wonderful days in the Library Cottage, we had to ask Charlotte and Thierry, if they were able to extend our stay at Le Manoir de Beauregard for longer.

Gratefully, our wish was granted and we had an additional magical 3 days together as a family, in the villa and the dordogne.

Everything about Le Manoir de Beauregard is a class above anywhere we have ever stayed, including the hosts.

Nothing is too much trouble for them & they even held a pizza party for our kids, where they were able to make their own pizza's in a pizza oven with ingredients sourced from their daughter Capucins wonderful organic vegetable garden on the estate.

My kids still talk about it, as the highlight of their holiday.

The decor and finish in the property is beautiful and the grounds are so well manicured that any PGA tour greenkeeper would be proud of them.

Thierry takes special care when cutting his lawns or cleaning his pool every morning.

On the subject of the pool, the pool area with changing and toilet facilities in a converted dove tower, was a wonderful haven to relax and cool down in after a hot day, to watch the sunset.

Finally, a word about Jet and Nero, the 2 resident dogs at le manoir. We genuinely fell in love with them and it broke our kids heart to say their farewells to them at the end of our holiday. They became part of our family & our routine for those 11 days. Thank you Thierry and Charlotte for opening up your idyllic home to families like ours and for helping to create special memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. We hope to be back but will tell nobody about Le Manoir de Beauregard, as we don't want everyone to know about this special place, through fear of not being able to get another booking.
