Truffle at Manoir BEAUREGARD

Its notoriety and success make the truffle a flagship product of Périgord.

The BEAUREGARD Manor, perched on the top of a hill on an open slope, facing south, with very limestone soil, is ideal for growing mycorrhizal truffle plants.

Thierry, motivated by the idea of hunting his own truffles, and coached by his friend and neighbor, the president of the central Périgord producers, François Thébault, undertook to plant more than 80 small truffles in the spring of 2019.

We hope, after a period of 7 years, for the start of the harvest. So should we then count on the scent of Pirouette, our young Dachshund?
